Going out to eat was a luxury for our family. So eating anything fried was a special treat. Mama didn’t want us to go without, so she would whip up her own version of a fry sauce. We would dip it and spread it on everything we could – burgers, fries, onion rings, even a grilled cheese. Thing is, when people tasted it, they started talking about it. And as they say, the rest is history. Her sauce found its way in every restaurant in the tri-county area.
